Xcel Energy’s Charging Perks pilot is currently on pause for enrollments because the utility reached its 1,000 EV cap. You may join the waitlist to enter the dynamic Charging Perks pilot at a future date when space in the program becomes available. Dynamic charging means the optimized times to charge your EV changes every day based on electrical costs and renewables.
OR
You may join the static Optimize Your Charge program instead today. Static charging means the times established to charge your EV are the same every day.

How does optimized charging work?

Once your EV is connected in the registration process and you've been approved for enrollment in the Xcel Energy Charging Perks pilot, you will start having your charging optimally scheduled each time you plug in at home (and need charging).

Our application identifies the lowest-cost periods you can charge in order to meet your upcoming driving needs, and within those periods finds the times that are lowest cost and cleanest for energy production. You'll automatically be scheduled to charge during those periods.

You'll receive notifications about your upcoming schedule via the channel you prefer (Web and/or SMS) and can skip your proposed charge schedule if you need.

Who created evPulse?

evPulse was created by WeaveGrid - founded in 2018. Details on WeaveGrid and its team can be found at www.weavegrid.com.
